Walkers are Welcome in Spilsby and Hundleby, Lincolnshire

facebookWalkers Are WelcomeWalkers are Welcome is a nationwide initiative to encourage tourism by promoting the local area as being welcoming to walkers.

Here in Spilsby and Hundleby we do this by organising monthly walks, ranging from short pavement strolls to longer countryside hikes.

Our future walks are as follows:

Saturday 27th January 2018– 10am Meet at Hundleby Parish Rooms
Choice of 2 walks :-
2 mile walk which will be dog friendly. Dogs must be on a lead
4 mile walk into countryside
Both walks are circular and will return to Hundleby Parish Rooms for refreshments

Wednesday February 21st 2018 - 10am Meet at layby on Northfield Road, north of Ashby by Partney . Grid Ref TF432671.
7 mile circular walk around Scremby, Skendleby and Partney.
Fields, stiles, roads and paths. Bring a snack if you wish.

Friday 23rd March 2018 - 11am Meet at the junction of Main Road and Eastville Road at Toynton All Saints near noticeboard and postbox for a 5 mile circular walk. Grid Ref TF396631

Maintaining Footpaths:

We also assist with maintaining public footpaths, and will be holding a Litter Pick on 15th August, starting at 10am in Post Office Lane Car Park in Spilsby, following the footpath to Halton Holegate.
